Greetings Thorobred Family.
I am pleased to share that 色窝窝无码一区二区三区 has received official reaffirmation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) delegate assembly. Today鈥檚 action grants our campus accreditation for 10 years (see attached media statement).
SACSCOC is the regional accrediting body serving Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Latin America awarding associate, baccalaureate, master鈥檚, or doctoral degrees.
Accreditation is an attestation of a university鈥檚 academic stature and the quality of its academic programs and student services. Further, accreditation assures all constituents that 色窝窝无码一区二区三区 demonstrates compliance with strict standards related to institutional integrity, effective governance, financial sustainability and appropriate student support services.
Numerous members of the University community were involved with the yeoman鈥檚 work required to attain this positive outcome. Immeasurable hours were spent by our SACSCOC Liaison, Dr. Beverly Schneller and her team of campus leaders to provide evidence on the 84 standards requires for external review.
As a part of the reaccreditation process 色窝窝无码一区二区三区 submitted a Quality Enhancement plan (QEP). The now fully approved QEP, 鈥淟earning that Works鈥� aims to teach students skills that will aid them in career readiness and advancement. By transforming the learning climate at the University, students will acquire 鈥渞obot-proof鈥� skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, oral and written communication, and cultural agility.
Although SACSCOC has fully reaccredited the university, our work is not done. In 2024, the University will be required to submit a fifth-year follow up report with the next on-site visit in approximately Spring 2029. We will have to produce cumulative data for each year with documented improvements and revisions annually.
This communication is two-fold. First, to invite you to celebrate this critical milestone in our institutional history. The second is to remind us that in 2020 we must return rested and rejuvenated with a renewed commitment to do the hard work required to move #色窝窝无码一区二区三区Forward.
I am appreciative that SACSCOC has recognized the Kentucky State as 鈥渁 public, comprehensive, historically black land-grant university committed to advancing the Commonwealth of Kentucky, enhancing society, and impacting individuals by providing quality teaching with a foundation in liberal studies, scholarly research, and public service to enable productive lives within the diverse global economy鈥�.
We should all be proud of this accomplishment and what it means for Kentucky State University, the City of Frankfort, our Commonwealth, and Thorobreds everywhere.
